What you get for free
MimicBox is a free browser game built around the same idea as a mimic party: a sound plays, everyone has one shot to reproduce it with their voice, and the best impression wins. There is nothing to buy and nothing to install. You open the site, create a room, share a 5 letter code and play.
Every sound pack is included: meme sounds, video game sounds and movie quotes. There is also a solo mode to train against the automatic score when nobody is online.
How the scoring works
Your take is compared with the original sound on its rhythm, melody and length, then your friends vote for the best impression. Votes are worth 100 points, the similarity score adds up to 100 bonus points. The full rules are here.
